Dear Praying Friends,

The church building for Pastor Dare in Apremdo, Ghana is literally starting to take shape! Due to an extended rainy season and other delays, it took nine months to dig the six-foot-deep trenches for footers and build the block foundation. Praise the Lord that the concrete slab has been poured, along with 30 pillars, which will hold up the base of the 2nd floor. They are now getting ready to set the rebar and pour the beam for the ceiling (second story floor). They stand in need of $18,500 to finish this project.

Pastor Dare reported seeing several folks saved while out soul-winning in recent months, as he has faithfully been working the highways and hedges in Apremdo. Among these, he asked prayer for Priscilla and Ekow, who trusted Christ several weeks ago.

Pastor Frederick Aidoo will soon be able to move to his new property and begin renovating the buildings to make them suitable for holding church services and Sunday School. Pastor Augustine Amoah appears to be close to being able to purchase land for their young church. Although both of these churches are still meeting in rented facilities, we praise the Lord that they are averaging 25-35 in attendance each Sunday.

Construction crews have also been delayed in building the church building for Immanuel Baptist Church in Wahala, Togo. However, the work did get started a couple of months ago. We praise the Lord that, as of today, the footers have been completed and walls are going up for this new church plant! The plan regarding this church is for Bro. Goungampo to ordain Bro. Koffi later this year and for Bro. Koffi to start the church and pastor it.

Our new website, OperationLight.org is now live! You can follow the progress of these church plants as the information and pictures are updated regularly. Continue praying for God’s blessings on the three church plants in Ghana and the church plant that is getting started in Togo.

Sincerely,
David Crews, Director
